Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland
and Northwest Indiana

 Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest
 Indiana (RMHC®-CNI) is an independent, not-for-profit
 organization dedicated to improving the health, well-being and
 education of children.
 
 There are four Ronald McDonald Houses in Chicagoland, providing  a “home away from home” to keep families ofhospitalized children together. At the Houses, family members can eat, sleep and find the emotional support they need– just blocks from where their child is being treated.

On most nights the Houses are full and many are turned away. 
In order to serve more families, RMHC-CNI is building the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House in downtown Chicago!  Due to open in 2012, the House will offer 14 stories of care and comfort, including 86 guest rooms and 9 rooms in the new Lurie Children’s Hospital, just steps away from the NICU.

Madonnari Off Main is dedicated to raising at least $50,000 by 2012 to sponsor a room in this new House, which will be a lasting legacy in the heart of Chicago.

National Eagle Center

Located on the banks of the Mississippi River and directly on the eagles' migratory path, the National Eagle Center is your place for an unforgettable experience with our nation's most majestic bird. See live resident eagles bathing and feeding, view wild eagles from the observation decks, participate in interactive programs, learn the significance of the eagle in the environment, its symbolic meaning for the country and military and the importance in Native American culture.

Resident Bald Eagles, Harriet, Angel and Columbia, are educational raptors/ambassadors suffered severe injuries in the wild, were nursed back to health, but are unable to survive without assistance. Daily Feeding Programs are a "must see". These classes provide an incredible opportunity to catch the eagle in all its glory. A specially designed room with trained handlers allow guests to get within 2' without interference of glass or cages. You'll watch the eagle eat, see its beautiful wings and learn some fascinating facts about this great raptor. Guests are welcome to take photos throughout the National Eagle Center.

Be sure to stop by and visit their tent as one of the eagles will be visiting Glen Ellyn for our event. Take your picture with an eagle and learn more about this magestic symbol of our Nation! The National Eagle Center tent is located near the front entrance of the VIP tent.
